COD order confirmation message templates
Ready-to-use messages for confirming Cash on Delivery orders before you ship, in English, Hindi and Hinglish. Replace the words in [brackets] with your details.
Tips before you copy
- Send the confirmation within an hour of the order, while the buyer still remembers it.
- Always include the order number and amount, so the buyer knows it's a real order and not spam.
- Ask one clear question with a yes or no answer. Buttons work better than "reply YES".
- Only message people about an order they placed. Don't add them to promotional lists without their consent.
1. Order confirmation
Hi [Name], thanks for your order [#1042] of ₹[1,299] from [Store]. It's Cash on Delivery. Shall we ship it? Reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel.

2. Reminder (no reply after 4 hours)
Hi [Name], just checking on your order [#1042] from [Store]. We'll ship it as soon as you reply YES. Reply NO if you no longer need it.
Hi [Name], aapka order [#1042] ([Store]) abhi confirm nahi hua. YES reply karte hi hum ship kar denge. Nahi chahiye to NO likh dein.
3. Address or pincode check
Hi [Name], we want your order [#1042] to reach you without delay. Could you please send your full address with house number, landmark and 6-digit pincode?
Hi [Name], order [#1042] sahi jagah time par pahunche, iske liye apna poora address bhej dein: house number, landmark aur 6-digit pincode.
4. Thank-you after YES
Thank you, [Name]! Your order [#1042] is confirmed and will be shipped soon. Please keep ₹[1,299] ready at delivery.

5. Reply after NO

Koi baat nahi [Name], order [#1042] cancel kar diya hai, ship nahi hoga. [Store] par phir milte hain.
